BIO
Over the past two decades, I’ve led and written, creative directed and film directed campaigns across nearly every major media platform — from global ad campaigns to episodic branded content to product introductions for brands including Apple, Meta, Michelob, HP, Microsoft, Adidas and more. My background uniquely blends creative leadership with hands-on production experience, allowing me to bridge the gap between big-picture storytelling and precise execution.
As a Creative Director and Film Director, I’ve overseen everything from concept development and scripting to live-action directing and post-production. I’ve run high-stakes sets, managed cross-disciplinary crews and delivered award-winning work under tight deadlines and varying budgets. Projects like Pandemica for ONE.org (deployed by the World Health Organization) and Contract for Change for Michelob showcase my ability to shape socially impactful narratives at scale.
I’m comfortable directing talent — from celebrities to star athletes to CEOs — and thrive in agency, corporate and production environments. My experience in leading teams, managing client relationships and navigating evolving digital formats ensures that I can deliver compelling content that resonates and performs.
My work has been recognized with two Cannes Grand Prix, a Cannes Titanium Lion, BAFTA honors, multiple D&AD Pencils, One Show Pencils, British Arrows, Effies, and other strange and shiny acronymic accolades. But perhaps my favorite award of all was being tapped to direct FunnyOrDie’s first ever internet movie, The Don Dolmes Story, a raucous comedy that garnered millions of fans worldwide. Or maybe my favorite awards are the ones I give judging the National PTA Reflections Film Production contest, witnessing the creativity, hope and talent of the next generation of storytellers.
I currently live on an island near Seattle with my wife, our two wildling sons, a dog, a cat and a bunch of ridiculously tall trees.
Phew.
